How I Pray now

How I Pray now with my precious time spent listening to God. I haven’t always prayed this way. I made the switch in the early 2000’s. 

In my time with our lord, I receive great pleasure daily during my time visiting our lord our God the father. Every response from him, whether immediately or delayed, is an incredible miracle in my life. Our time is very special, it’s not like anything I’ve ever experienced, and I treasure every minute.

Can we be worried, stressed, or have fear and have faith simultaneously? No, it is not possible.

How we look at life XL yesterday, today, and even tomorrow is different. There is always beauty growing after the ugly aftermath of trouble. How we define it is what makes our mood in that time. It is of great value to be able to see and hear the awful and be able; to stay in love with our God and relax in peace knowing he has our back.

Faith of the faithful. Do not forget. Stop and smell the roses. He is there observing us. He answers questions if I ask. He reminds me to have faith and to trust him.

I, just like everyone else, sometimes will go scream or cry if needed. I then pray while talking or just spending time with God, and I am quiet. I will continue until I feel peace and feel he has excused me for the time being, or I think I need to go to sleep or do something God tells me to do. I have fallen asleep while talking with him. Sometimes hours pass, other times only minutes. I may suddenly be refreshed and or extremely happy. I never know what is to come of our time when we begin; I know that I receive a blessing when I feel it.

I may feel him, hear him or see things he is showing me. It is not as often as I would like and probably because I may not be giving my full attention. Whatever the reason, I want those moments with him when I connect with him. It is truly one of the greatest feelings. It is the ultimate peace!

This is how I pray.

Either I am at home or outside in nature in a safe place.

I prefer to sit Indian-style on a meditation pillow if possible. Palms facing up.

I start talking to God for as long as I can. After I pray, I stay in position and sit there.

It is our time. I still have my eyes closed. I will stay an hour or more if possible, in quiet until I get a message or have a feeling of peace, then I savor the moment as long as I can.

This is the secret of my life. My relationship with God, I cherish forever. My precious moments with God.

The Public School In Action Or Are They Asleep?

According to a recent article by Harold Pierce, in The Bakersfield Californian/TNS on Feb 12, 2016, Earlier this year a school district in Bakersfield, teachers are already complaining about the failure of the new program to basically eliminate general education. 

Sick Joke? This may be the last generation of Education. Special Ed in some classes is nothing but day care. To put gifted and average kids in the same level as special ed will increase bullying and boredom and therefore more crime. They won't stop there. It is already becoming a nightmare. If this continues, the teachers and police won't be able to handle it. The true special needs kids will be harmed and they will become fearful, lack of confidence and deepening, lack of abilities as they age. They will not grow, learn or mature. They will learn the bad things. This is a travesty and a disaster in wait. This will  be a diseased community. It will spread if not repaired ASAP. 

Who would want to live or raise kids in the Bakersfield community. They are encouraging violent behavior both in the students and in district employees. Merging special ed and mainstream ultimately will be hurting the job market, the housing market and increasing the jail market. Special needs kids that fall between the cracks or get setup will also land in jail. 

The community needs intervention now. The school board can always relocate and be employed somewhere else meanwhile leaving the damage behind. Parents need to step up.

The Giant Raises Up from Amazon and I’m so excited about a new Wall Street Journal article that talks about Amazon opening up to four hundred brick-and-mortar bookstores in shopping malls. I’m so excited because perhaps my books that I wrote will be sold in the new physical Amazon bookstore. Let the kids know what a bookstore is. The proper way to hang out at the bookstore. These kids have never used a typewriter. There is so much that they have missed in order to enjoy the gain. Have you ever looked at a young person when they were making a choice to look something up in a physical book or the electronic version? I have and each time I see them go for the physical book if it’s going to be any length of time. It’s great to be able to pick up your smartphone and talk to it and get your answer right away, but if you really want to learn something wouldn’t you rather go page flipping?

Magic Mountain The Back Lot Spending Time With My Son in the Santa Clarita Mountains. The wild ride in the west... #WildRide Actually this is Six Flags Magic Mountain and the thrill of discovery. The anxious waiting for kids of all ages. Another happy place.

My son and I have been writing all week stuck at home behind the computer. Time to get out and see the sun, breathe fresh air, and see the cars move. Oh how refreshing. We decided to just drive. We decided we without film our little Jaunt using Periscope for others to enjoy. 

When we got to magic mountain they were closed. Another family was there and so disappointed. They had flagged us down and asked us why they were closed. The father said they were locals, and they just wanted to go for the day. I don't know why they were closed it's Tuesday. So we decided to film and take still pictures of the roller coasters we could see. Well they've been doing construction nearby, so of course I had to go and see where the road goes. That has always been fun. It was great exploring. We had an enjoyable couple hours.

Recent Reflections. As a Baby Boomer or Boomer we are called, even Generation X, a.k.a. Baby Busters or 13th Generation many are still young at around 50. In our time, we have experienced enough technology advancements, to sound like 80-year-olds. Think about it, in our parents time they got TV, their own record collections and cassette tapes. In their parents time they got cars and movie theaters. But in my time, we got push button phones, wireless phones and built in car phones, the Internet, computers, Music and movies on an eight track player, on CD, DVD and by download, we also have battery operated cars and medical advancements. In our children’s time, they got cell phones, drones and 3-D printers. While we are still waiting on the Jetsons flying cars and food coming out of the walls it doesn't seem like it will be too long a wait. But I’m good with us plastic buttons that have things delivered.

The Beans On The Inside Info Of Live Streaming 2016. Okay, here's the beans… If you thought Live streaming video was already big wait till you see this. 2016 is about to explode with the live streaming. 

In the last few months people have been live streaming that were not even in the streaming business. Meerkat, Periscope, have already developed. 

The first week of January 2016, Mevee opened for business. The week before the big summit. The trade show just for live streamers of any size. People from all over the world are traveling to San Francisco, California January 16-17, to attend. 

Soon Live streaming we'll take over social media advertising as a big player. Players include Facebook Live, YouTube Live streaming, David Beckham's MyEye. 

The reason that these Apps are so valuable and popular is the interaction between the viewer and the broadcaster. It is worldwide, personal and individual. The viewer gets to know and trust the broadcaster. 

Live streaming 24/7/365 bypasses the TV Broadcast which is scripted and talked at the viewer. 

Broadcasted were fascinating Christmas and New Year's eve celebrations in each area of the world including unedited personal interviews including views of Dubai the fire from individual homes. 

Some Smart televisions will display these broadcasts. The rest of us will rely on the smart phone app and the computer for live streaming for news, education, entertainment and business.
